Our flights from LAX to Warsaw were pretty uneventful but looong. The LOT frlight from Chicago was late and completely full. We definitely do not recommend LOT -- old plane, no entertainment system other than one bad movie and not a lot of food.. But we got here.
The weather is fantastic -- almost hot and very sunny. Everything is blooming; tons of flower vendors everywhere selling bunches of lilies of the valley, tulips, lilac, etc.
The whole first day was mostly running around the city to get the cell phone to work and then buy a cordless phone for Bo’s father whom Bo also visited in the afternoon.
Other than that we walked and walked and walked until we dropped around 9 pm. Thankfully there is a pizzeria downstairs in the building where we are staying in a friend’s apartment so we didn’t have to go far for dinner. Actually they were nice enough to deliver it upstairs.
